How much does a filling cost in Redlands?

How long does a filling take?
One visit. A single filling is usually 30 to 45 minutes, and two or three in the same area can often be done in the same appointment.
Can I eat afterward?
Yes. Tooth-colored fillings are hardened with a light and are fully set when you leave, so there's no waiting period. Just wait for the numbness to wear off, usually one to two hours, so you don't bite your cheek or tongue.
How long do fillings last?
Composite fillings typically last around 7 to 10 years or more, depending on size, location, and whether you grind your teeth. We check them at every cleaning and tell you when one is starting to wear.
Do you use silver or metal fillings?
No. We place tooth-colored composite fillings that bond to the tooth and blend with your enamel, so nobody can see where the work was done.
Why is my tooth sensitive after a filling?
Mild sensitivity to cold or pressure for a few days is normal while the tooth settles. If it's sharp, lingering, or your bite feels high after a week, call us: a quick bite adjustment usually fixes it.
What if I wait?
Cavities only get bigger. A small filling caught early is the cheapest and fastest fix. Left alone, decay reaches the nerve and turns into a root canal and crown, which cost several times more.
