Zoom is professional in-office whitening: gel stronger than anything sold over the counter, activated under an LED light in three or four short rounds, about 90 minutes total. Your fee includes the session, custom trays molded to your teeth, take-home gel for touch-ups, and desensitizing gel.
How many shades whiter will I get?
Most patients leave several shades brighter in one visit. It depends on your starting shade and what caused the staining. Coffee, tea, and tobacco stains respond best; deeper grey staining lightens more gradually. Your quick check comes with an honest read on what to expect.
Does Zoom whitening hurt?
The most common side effect is brief sensitivity (“zingers”) during or for a day or two after. Desensitizing gel is included, your gums are protected by a barrier the whole time, and we can shorten the light rounds if your teeth run sensitive.
How long do results last?
A year or more for most people, longer with occasional touch-ups in your take-home trays. Coffee, red wine, and smoking shorten the timeline.
Is it safe for my enamel?
